Saturday 21st June - York Milliners hat shopping trip.

Saturday 26th July - The Summer Picnic.

Sunday 24th or Monday 25th August - Sheffield Fayre at Norfolk Park

Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st September - Formal Barbecue at the Roper-Macintyre household.

Friday 31st October - Murder Mystery Evening

Monday 3rd November - Formal meal probably at Vito's.

Saturday 6th December - Winter Ball

Cost - You will need funds to purchase a hat. This isn't compulsory of course, but when you get there, you'll want a hat and be upset if you haven't the funds to purchase one.

A daytrip to visit the sterling milliners of York with tea in one of the little shops while we're there. This will be a full day with the sole intention of expanding or starting your hat wardrobe and a marvellous opportunity to obtain a little something to wear at the Summer Picnic later in the year. Whatever you wear, make sure it falls within the the tenets of our simple rules.

Location - Weston Park, Sheffield (Will move to the Botanical Gardens, Sheffield if work at Weston Park is not completed).

Cost - As per last year, you will need to supply some food, drink and games. There is no formal cost for this event.

A summer picnic in one of Sheffield's most beautiful parks, currently well on the way to being fully restored to the original Victorian design. Any attire is welcome as long as it remains within the tenets of our simple rules. Last year's Summer Picnic details can be found here.

Cost - Some spending money advised, but it's a good day out even if you're penniless.

A day out at the annual Sheffield Fayre in Norfolk Park. This is a good opportunity to purchase new accessories. Be sure that whatever you wear, it adheres to our simple rules.

Cost - A list of foodstuffs and drinks will be drawn up. Attendees would be requested to provide items from the list to a certain amount. This ensures fair distribution of costs.

Due to space limitations, this event will only be available to a limited number of guests, more details on that closer to the time. The usual simple rules apply.

Cost - There will be a small fee for the hiring of the venue and other sundries. More definite costs will be available nearer the time.

An evening of intrigue and horror as we delve into the mysterious murder of one of the guests. Early Victorian attire for this event within the tenets of our simple rules.

Cost - approximately �20.00 per head for food. More definite details nearer the time.

This will be a formal meal. The event is currently on a Monday as we can then have the restaurant to ourselves as a large party. We shall also be celebrating Mr Roper's birthday which occurs on Saturday 24th November. Foppish and fantastical attire is the preference for this event and as long as you adhere to our simple rules you'll be welcome.

A masquerade ball in a private hall with music. The original notion was for live music but due to the cost-to-attendees ratio we have had to rethink and will be having recorded music and dancing instead. All attendees must wear a masque of some description and their outfit must adhere to our simple rules.
